Position Responsibilities: · Work closely with plant personnel to maximize operational and cost efficiencies while maintaining the required customer service levels and inventory levels · Actively engage in plant CPS activities. Serves as the Lean Supply Chain pillar leader. Mentors and builds skills in pillar team members and facilitates improvement efforts. · Annualize long-term production capacity and develop annual planning model identifying planned production · Provide rolling weekly production plan to plant using system tools provided with strong understanding of plant capabilities, constraints to meet cost and customer service level · Work daily with materials planner to ensure production facility has adequate materials on hand consistent with requirements, inventory levels and warehouse space. · Participate in special projects as required. Projects include but may not be limited to: new product launches, asset utilization studies, supply chain cost optimization opportunities. · Participates in plant staff and daily CPD meetings as required. · Responsible for maintaining food safety, quality and employee safety Position Qualifications: · BS or BA in statistics, mathematics, manufacturing management, supply chain, finance or related field preferred. · 2 years experience in Supply Planning. Purchasing/planning/ detailed scheduling experience preferred. · Ability to multi-task and set priorities within a department. Must be flexible and ready to make changes to the schedule, sometimes with short notice. · Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. · Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, problem solving, project management and organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally · Strong PC skills includes MS office programs. Strong background in material management systems required. SAP or other inventory and planning software is preferred. · Self-directed, results and goal oriented Compensation: Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
