About The Position

The Supply Person at Producers Rice Mill, Inc. is responsible for operating an electric forklift and ensuring the safe and clean delivery of products. Requirements

• Forklift experience is required.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are necessary.
• Basic computer skills, particularly with scanners, are required.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are mandatory.
• Fluency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English is essential.
• Willingness to climb up to 20 feet is required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs is necessary.
• Physical capability to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day is required.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklift to transport materials.
• Inspect carriers (trucks and boxcars) for safety and cleanliness.
• Stack and take down packing material on slip sheets and/or pallets.
• Use scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control.
• Deliver supplies to other departments throughout the day.
