Job Details Job Location: Ft Worth Location - Fort Worth, TX 76106 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $36,000.00 Base+Commission/month Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Construction Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities: Supervising counter and warehouse staff at your work location Managing inventory which includes staying apprised of stock levels, anticipating stock calls and demands, and evaluating turn Purchasing parts from authorized Supply Division vendors Learning the customer’s expectations for today and the future and periodically checking back with the customer with advance knowledge of sales and special pricing on parts they frequently order Providing sales quotes and using skilled expertise to close the sale Gaining knowledge and awareness about the current area market Managing your accounts receivables report to ensure customers remain current on their invoice payments and maintaining awareness for slow-paying customers, COD and “NO Sale” customers Displaying flexibility and openness to change and encouraging others to stay open to changes and improvements in policies and procedures Maintaining the highest integrity for safety by following all safety guidelines, reinforcing and teaching safety SOP’s and inspecting work areas continually to ensure workers comply with safety procedures and protocols Organizing and managing your time productively to ensure the highest possible return to the Company and its customers. Communicating with all levels of management to ensure that all service to our customers is handled in the most professional manner, which includes a strong focus on honesty and integrity in all transactions. Creating and/or refining procedures relating to ordering, shipping, receiving, Contacting customers by phone, email or in person to answer queries and solve problems that supply parts specialists are not authorized to solve independently Managing the business to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as established by the General Manager

Requirements

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and other software solutions

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • This position requires frequent local travel using a company DOT-registered truck
  • Must possess or obtain Class B Commercial Driver License and DOT Medical Card
  • Periods of sitting while driving or performing desk work using computer technology
  • Must be able to climb short ladders/step stools to handle product
  • Ability to open boxes using a box knife
  • Periods of reaching, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, bending to move parts or stock inventory
  • Must be able to work indoors or outdoors under a variety of temperatures and weather conditions
  • School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience working with supply parts in the construction industry or related
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • 3+ years of inventory experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
