Requirements

Data‑Driven Decision Making Explains core principles and steps of data‑driven decision making and how it differs from traditional approaches. Identifies key objectives, tools, and techniques for gathering and analyzing data.
Analytical Thinking Describes common analytical tools, techniques, and software used to support problem‑solving. Provides examples of applying analysis to identify root causes and develop solutions.
Effective Communication Communicates clearly through constructive feedback, presentations, and written materials. Adapts communication to the audience and interprets verbal and non‑verbal cues.
Project Management Explains fundamental project concepts, including phases, tasks, deliverables, and critical paths. Identifies project objectives and tools within their functional area.
Procurement Describes core purchasing cycle steps and institutional procurement responsibilities. Identifies key product categories and tools used to manage procurement data.
Procurement System Knowledge Summarizes primary features, functions, and reports of the procurement system. Explains how to process routine purchases and navigate essential system components.
Purchasing Tasks & Activities Explains core procurement concepts, processes, and standards. Identifies required tools and types of goods/services procured.
Logistics Management Describes fundamental logistics processes and available information sources. Identifies inbound/outbound logistics considerations and how logistics improvements enhance competitiveness.
Degree or equivalent experience desired

Responsibilities

Developing improvement plans to support buyers & professionals related to Response Time, Lean Targets Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to enable optimal and efficient operations.
Performing analysis and maintenance of assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assign process area, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Supporting customers and customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
Performing analytical and administrative tasks in support of purchasing strategic initiatives.
