Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is seeking a successful candidate to be serve as the Department manager of a Supply Planning team. This role will be onsite in our McKinney, TX facility. What You Will Do Participate in resource and factory material planning, work closely with the factory and operations teams, as well as be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory. Ownership & use of metrics will be key to maintaining MRP health and drive the expected level of performance to support contractual obligations. Perform material inventory audits and movement of material within the factory and building. Must be able to lift per RTX EHS Lifting Guidelines. Be onsite 5 days/week, this is a factory facing role. Be responsible for all aspects of the team to include staffing, development, training, hiring, succession planning, performance appraisals, compensation planning, and promotions. They must maintain positive customer relationships, forecast the groups labor requirements, and deploy qualified staff to support programs. Support and regularly communicate organizational strategies and objectives and provide technical and/or project leadership support to a wide variety of programs Ability to travel to government and other facilities in support of program activities, typically less than 15%.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience with SAP or ERP and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing engineering
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Kinaxis, CMES or similar software
  • Experience leading a team
  • Ability to travel to government and other facilities in support of program activities, typically less than 15%
