About The Position
Serves as a Supply Management Specialist (Course Instructor) for DLA Operations (J31) and is responsible for conducting complex and comprehensive analysis of systems and reviewing and delivering detailed functional training and training documentation. Primary areas of responsibility include review, delivery and maintenance of assigned systems, programs and processes training in the DLA Logistics Information Service Customer Products and Services Directorate. Reviews and conducts training for customers involved in the worldwide logistical support for DoD, civil agencies, defense contractors, and foreign governments. Changes and revises material due to the rapid changes in the supply and logistics systems policies, procedures, and practices. Performs tailored customer training that requires extensive fact finding and development of a working knowledge of the customer's supply management systems, policies, and procedures.
