About the position
We are hiring a Supply Management Leader (Analyst) to oversee and manage our Custom's and Specials processes. This role provides strategic and analytical support and decision making for assigned supply management discipline or project. The individual will oversee and manage specials and custom materials, projects or functional processes, ensuring that applicable business results are met on behalf of all applicable stakeholders. The position sponsors, manages, and leads implementation of numerous projects relative to achieving business results expected of supply management assignments. The role also involves developing, updating, and implementing short- and long-range strategic plans that identify cost benefit and major risk mitigation opportunities, tracking internal and external information/data relative to assigned procurement responsibility, and identifying opportunities for supply related cost control and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic and analytical support and decision making for assigned supply management discipline or project.
- Oversees and manages specials and custom materials, projects or functional processes.
- Accountable to ensure that applicable business results are met on behalf of all applicable stakeholders.
- Sponsors, manages and leads implementation of numerous projects relative to achieving business results expected of supply management assignment.
- Develops, updates, and implements short- and long-range strategic plans that identify cost benefit and major risk mitigation opportunities.
- Tracks internal and external information/data relative to assigned procurement responsibility.
- Identifies opportunities for supply related cost control and performance improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Engineering or Supply Chain required.
- 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
