Supply Management Instructor
About The Position
Supply Management Instructor at the Army National Guard Professional Education Center located in North Little Rock, AR The ARNG Unit Supply Personnel Course is a two-week resident course that provides functional training for ARNG Officers, Warrant Officers, Noncommissioned Officers, and civilian personnel assigned to unit-level supply sections as Supply Officers, Supply Sergeants, or Supply Specialists. The course trains critical skills required to equip, maintain, and sustain units of the Army National Guard through careful planning and execution of organizational supply operations. Course instruction and training focuses on how to read and use authorization documents, the Global Combat Support System-Army, and other logistics information systems to requisition supplies and equipment, establish and maintain accountability of those supplies and equipment, coordinate the maintenance of unit equipment, and provide Soldiers with their individual clothing and equipment.
Requirements
- Candidates must have an active Secret clearance
- Knowledge requirements Command Supply Discipline Program
- Utilize authorization documents to support property requisitions, disposal, and accountability using GCSS-Army
- Establish and maintain proper accountability of assigned and organizational property
- Submit and manage requisitions to ensure the organization is properly and fully equipped
- Order and account for rations and ammunition
- Ability to obtain instructor certification
- Five years experience as a Unit Supply NCO
- Strong communication skills (oral and writing)
- Five years of GCSS-Army experience
