About The Position

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Analyze forecasted demand, manage inventory, and develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands to meet AppleCare's target fill rate while minimizing total inventory cost. Execute weekly plans optimally to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turns. Analyze and set system parameters to optimize inventory, meet service level goals, and minimize costs. Maintain and update ERP master data for planning parts at various plants. Initiate Engineering Change requests based on the material life cycle. Analyze and resolve product backlogs and fill rates on a daily basis. Identify problem areas and drive appropriate functional groups to correct them. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as finished goods planning and factory operations teams, to ensure sufficient capacities and materials meet supply requirements. Attend weekly conference calls with Europe and Asia-Pacific teams to sync on supply-demand matching regionally and globally. Publish weekly factory forecast and ensure deltas and gaps are clearly communicated and bridged. Identify opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business stakeholders and IT to implement continuous system improvements. International and Domestic Travel Required 10%. 40 hours/week.
