About The Position
The position involves a variety of responsibilities primarily focused on customer service and inventory management. Responsibilities include providing customer service, data entry of material stock requests, receiving and shipping, credit processing, and issuing supplies upon receipt of proper requisition and authorized personnel. The role also includes conducting cycle counts, inventorying, quality control, filing, running reports, and analyzing data. Additionally, the position requires processing material stock requests for storeroom customers, verifying and inspecting incoming supplies for discrepancies and visible damage, and processing receiving receipts in the system while confirming the put-away process on all stock items. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
