About The Position

The Lutheran Home is seeking a Supply Clerk to join our dedicated team. This key role, available for full-time or part-time, is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who shares our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. In this important position, you will help ensure residents and staff have the supplies they need to provide exceptional care. This role involves regular lifting, organization, and movement throughout the day. Since 1972, the Lutheran Home has provided the region’s residents with dignified and compassionate care. Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
  • Compassionate, patient, and professional
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting supplies weighing up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Track and maintain stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment and organization
  • Process orders, receive deliveries, and distribute supplies accurately
  • Maintain inventory records
  • Inspect supplies for quality and condition upon receipt
  • Communicate with vendors to manage orders and resolve issues
  • Implement and manage stock rotation practices
  • Keep storage areas clean and organized in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Address urgent supplies needs and ensure timely availability
  • Follow budget guidelines for supply procurement
  • Participate in inventory audits and maintain compliance records
  • Collaborate with staff to foster and support a positive community culture
