About The Position

Centro, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Supply Clerk to support inventory, shipping, receiving, and material distribution across the facility. This role ensures that the right materials are in the right place at the right time to keep production running smoothly—a critical part of our ability to deliver quality products to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to operate computers and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to follow written/oral instructions and perform consistent, accurate work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass physical exam and meet physical requirements:
  • Lift up to 30 lbs continuously and 50 lbs periodically
  • Stand for long periods; walk; climb stairs; stoop; reach; bend
  • Visual and color distinction abilities
  • Commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, teamwork, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check in, and verify counts of all component and non-component items.
  • Compare materials received against Bills of Lading or packing lists and note discrepancies.
  • Inspect goods for damage and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Deliver materials to designated storage or manufacturing areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Generate purchase requisitions for non-component items, returnable containers, packaging, office supplies, and items needed for production, maintenance, and engineering.
  • Manage inventories of finishing tools, returnable rags, and graphic components.
  • Count and distribute materials, graphics, components, and supplies to production areas.
  • Expedite rush orders and address material shortages.
  • Create and print production and shipping labels.
  • Premix and distribute formula and release materials for production.
  • Transport materials and finished components safely throughout the facility.
  • Maintain all required clerical records.
  • Assist shipping and material handling as needed.
  • Support inventory checks or cycle counts.
  • Train less-experienced personnel in procedures, safety, and equipment usage.
  • Suggest process improvements related to efficiency, safety, and organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Stores Leader.
