About The Position

The Supply Clerk 2 position at the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System involves a variety of responsibilities centered around customer service and inventory control. Additionally, the position entails managing inventory by locating, picking, and delivering stock items, processing returns, maintaining inventory databases, and ensuring proper stock rotation. The clerk will also assist in decontamination duties, verify patient billable items, and maintain accurate supply distribution records. Other responsibilities include participating in annual inventory tasks, monitoring supply levels, and adhering to safety and quality assurance standards.

Requirements

  • 2 years experience in service/trades with some experience in materials/supply.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively with customers and responds to their issues and concerns.
  • Performs routine quality/service rounds to ensure a quality experience.
  • Greets customers in a friendly manner and works well with others.
  • Locates, picks, and delivers stock items and equipment to appropriate areas.
  • Processes item/equipment returns and updates inventory database.
  • Participates in routine physical inventory maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains proper stock rotation to eliminate expired items.
  • Assists in decontamination of equipment duties.
  • Ensures proper charges for patient billable items and equipment.
  • Assembles and inspects rental equipment as 'ready to use'.
  • Delivers supplies to departments and maintains accurate distribution records.
  • Monitors supply and equipment levels on nursing unit carts.
  • Transports used equipment for cleaning and retrieves clean equipment.
  • Observes and adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Completes assigned projects and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
