REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise._ Providence is calling a Supply Chain Technician who will: + Be responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistics functions including but not limited to: receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking as well as input of patient charges as directed + Be responsible for working with customers within their specific ministry ensuring an effective and streamlined supply chain experience at the local ministry/site for all caregivers they serve + Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long term care facilities and warehouse operations for their respective ministry + Regularly required to push, pull, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25-50 pounds _Please note the following important details regarding this role:_ + This position is an onsite role and will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled + Work Week: Monday - Friday + Work Schedule: Variable + Weekends: Flexibility to work weekend days scheduled by manager based upon departmental needs _Providence welcomes applicants to apply that live within a daily commutable distance of our hospital location listed below:_ + Oregon: Portland

Requirements

  • Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience
  • Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment recommended, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used
  • Healthstream Customer Service Certification, or completed within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Medical materials management experience
