About The Position

Castleview Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Supply Chain Technician. This role is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations. The position reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. Responsibilities

Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
Stocks units with office and medical supplies, prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
Processes outgoing mail.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Distributes clean linens to departments (during first 6 weeks).
Evaluates rejected linens to verify rejection cause and quantity (during first 6 weeks).
Calculates linen quantities and need for new linen orders (during first 6 weeks).
Reviews pick sheets (during first 6 weeks).
Analyzes point of care area supply quantities (during first 6 weeks).
Distributes from the storeroom to point of care areas (during first 6 weeks).
Performs cycle counts and subinventory transfers (during first 6 weeks).
Estimates supply quantity on hand and makes product reorder recommendations (during first 6 weeks).
Receives supplies delivered by shipping companies from distributors and manufacturers (during first 6 weeks).
Restocks storeroom shelves (during first 6 weeks).
Delivers department specific supplies received (during first 6 weeks).
Receives all supplies delivered into the supply chain system (during first 6 weeks).
