About The Position
Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for the delivery of patient care supplies and equipment to the point of need. This position is also responsible for the restocking of shelves, the picking supply requests and the staging of supply requests for delivery. This position is responsible for proper supply identification and use of proper warehousing techniques, including but not limited maintaining of a clean and safe work environment. Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital that serves Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, and Lancaster in southwestern Dallas County. In addition to the new 40,000-square-foot expansion of the emergency department, we offer a newly renovated intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and interventional radiology suite; a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit. Requirements
- High school Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1 or more years of work related experience including inventory control preferred
