About The Position
The Supply Chain Technician performs physical and inventory-related tasks in supply chain logistics involving receiving, storage, delivery and replenishment of supplies and equipment used throughout the hospital campus to promote a clinically-integrated supply chain. The role requires following established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards. Responsibilities include checking expiration dates, stock rotation, ordering, delivering, and stocking supplies, promoting teamwork, processing supply requests, unloading and inspecting materials, entering patient charges, collaborating with Purchasing and Accounts Payable, handling outbound shipments, and demonstrating accountability and integrity in all tasks.
