About The Position

This position is for a Supply Chain Technician Advanced at Trinity Health Livonia. The role primarily involves managing equipment and general medical-surgical supplies within various healthcare settings. Key duties include requesting, receiving, distributing, and managing the obsolescence of supplies, as well as maintaining stock levels through PAR level replenishment. The technician will work closely with end-users to address supply issues and discrepancies. A significant portion of the role (70%+) is dedicated to inventory and data support. Additionally, the role serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for complex orders, data entry, reporting, and payment activities, and involves training colleagues and assisting the Supply Chain Leader with special assignments. Trinity Health is a large not-for-profit, faith-based health care system operating across 27 states.

Requirements

• 2+ years Supply Chain experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas.
• Includes knowledge of all duties described in Technician role.
• Have received a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to complete additional education, training and competency tests as required.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehousing, or other distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Requesting, receiving, distributing equipment & obsolescence management & stocking of general med-surg supplies in various healthcare settings.
• Works with end users as necessary to request supplies, troubleshoot supply issues, & resolve discrepancies as they occur.
• Maintains work & supply storage areas & equipment in a clean, up to date, organized & safe condition.
• Performs periodic PAR level replenishment duties using various resupply procedures to maintain stock levels.
• Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry & payment activities.
• Assists Supply Chain Leader with special assignments.
• Provide inventory or data support (70%+ time).
• Trains colleagues & readily assume responsibility for extra assignments.
• Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representatives for complex orders, data entry, reporting & payment activities and initiatives.
