Supply Chain at Adyen is growing rapidly, expanding our presence in the In Person Payments (IPP, payment terminals) and in Issuing (physical cards) fields. We are looking for a Team Lead for the Warehousing & Logistics teams in the Americas region, covering North America and Brazil. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team, responsible for implementing the global strategy in the respective regions and driving continuous improvement. The team lead ensures high-quality execution of inbound, warehousing and outbound processes. The team lead is responsible for leading the 5 team members based in New York and Sao Paolo. This team currently manages 3 third party warehouse locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on warehousing from a strategic perspective, preferably with experience in the hardware industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain (warehousing focus)
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience
• Proven track record in effectively managing relationships and collaboration with 3PLs and hardware suppliers
• Comfortable working as part of a leadership team that’s mainly based in Europe
• Strong leadership skills and ability to upskill the team through mentoring or coaching
• Combination of strategic thinking with daily operational pragmatism
• Hands-on and willing to pick up any operational activities when needed
• Comfortable in ambiguous situations and inclined to interact with various stakeholders to decide on direction and priorities
• Thrives in a constantly changing environment and comfortable driving significant improvements
• Preference for fast decision making and autonomy over excessive focus on perfection
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with others clearly and emphatically
• Willingness to travel for work

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Leadership team of Supply Chain
• Implement the global supply chain strategy and improve the overall supply chain performance in the region
• Create and drive the strategy for warehousing and logistics for the Americas region, in alignment with global strategy
• Ensure that the regional W&L team and third party logistics providers execute operations with high quality and high effectiveness
• Improve scalability and efficiency for inbound, warehousing and outbound operations
• Drive or support software implementations and process improvements
• Collaborate with different functions and regional stakeholders in order to ensure we are scalable across the globe
• Manage and coach the regional team, driving team engagement, performance and skills

Benefits

• Annual base salary range of $145,000 - $195,000
