Position Summary: The primary responsibility of Supply Chain Support employees is to provide the resources required to carry-out the daily operations of the supply chain function in the assigned areas.

Requirements

• Strong typing skills.
• Strong computer skills (using MS Office – OutLook & Excel).
• Experience using SAP.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and professional writing skills.
• Ability to maintaining accurate record keeping.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to complete Timken PIV (forklift) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with bearing manufacturing – experience differentiating components used in bearing production and assembly.
• Previous experience in logistics and/or supply chain, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Production order creation, preparation, and delivery to operations.
• Production order closure including retrieval from operations and electronic storage including organizing and scanning closed orders into OnBase.
• Scrap order creation and management.
• Quality issue investigation support including work order retrieval from storage.
• Daily scheduling support including work order linkage, conversion, and expedite support.
