About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized, task‑focused Supply Chain Supervisor to support fast‑paced operations across multiple downtown Indianapolis facilities. This role partners closely with distribution teams and plays a key part in ensuring efficient procurement, receiving, equipment maintenance, and inventory processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • 3+ years in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required
  • Ability to obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 30 days (depending on assignment)
  • Ability to operate manual and motorized material‑handling equipment (as applicable)
  • Extended periods of standing; heavy pushing and pulling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs overhead
  • Ability to carry up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Perform procurement, receiving, stocking, preventative maintenance, and equipment cleaning.
  • Oversee assigned staff and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
  • Maintain an organized work environment to support efficient workflows.
  • Implement countermeasures to address process breakdowns.
  • Monitor, correct, and process employee time and payroll.
  • Participate in mentoring, cross‑training, and providing input for performance evaluations.
  • Analyze and resolve service discrepancies, document concerns, track trends, and produce monthly reports.
  • Support transportation and freight monitoring.
  • Promote and ensure safe operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management.
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and weekend coverage as required.
