About The Position

As the Supply Chain Supervisor for Yancey's Engineered Solutions group, you will provide optimal inventory accuracy (98.5% and above) for the plant. You will perform multiple duties related to inventory acquisition and inventory performance, vendor performance and internal customer service to achieve the greatest return on investment for Yancey Bros. Co. To be effective, you must establish an understanding of the core objectives and accountabilities for the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in industry experience.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this position will frequently contact people via email, phone, and in person.
  • Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft suite of business software Excel.
  • This person must be highly organized and analytical with an advanced attention to detail.
  • Must be able to analyze problems and develop solutions.
  • This person must be highly organized and analytical with an advanced attention to detail.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft D365 WMS.

Nice To Haves

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in a similar industry using cycle counting and inventory management, possess strong problem-solving skills and a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cycle counts using D365 using Cycle count Plans.
  • Participate in the year-end inventory audit.
  • Report out daily, weekly and monthly count accuracy.
  • Monthly order placement.
  • Maintaining and updating part item numbers.
  • Complete and maintain aged inventory reports.
  • Root cause inventory shortages.
  • Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
