About The Position

The position is located at University Hospital and involves supervising staff as assigned while overseeing standards to ensure compliance. The role requires ensuring customer needs are met while maintaining efficiencies and maintaining an orderly and organized work area to facilitate efficient processes. The individual will implement countermeasures when breakdowns occur, monitor, correct, and perform employee time and payroll, and engage in mentoring and cross-training opportunities. Additionally, the position involves providing input on performance evaluations, analyzing and resolving service discrepancies, overseeing accurate documentation of concern areas, tracking trends, and ensuring timely monthly reporting. The role also includes assisting in monitoring transportation and freight, providing input on the development and revisions of department policy and procedures, and maintaining ISC security. Conducting operations in a manner that promotes safety is essential, and the individual will serve as a liaison between employees and management. The position requires on-call rotation and weekend coverage.
