Requirements

  • Master's Degree with 2+ years of supply chain or logistics experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of supply chain or logistics experience OR High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of supply chain or logistics experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Valid drivers license.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain.
  • Relevant working knowledge and related experience in a leadership or supervisor capacity.
  • Life Science and Supply Chain experience.
  • General logistics and shipping experience (international a plus).
  • Intermediate skills in applicable computer programs.

  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise the flow of inventory in and out of the assigned facility.
  • Provide direct supervision to relevant personnel (Material Handlers, Lab Techs, Associates and/or Specialists).
  • Manage, evaluate and maintain physical and system inventories in line with agreed quality/regulatory compliance.
  • Perform receiving, storage, order fulfillment and shipping activities in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable safety, quality, trade compliance and/or logistics regulations.
  • Create, review and revise SOPs and policies pertaining to responsibilities.
  • Interact with all levels of the company, employees, external vendors and clients.
  • Set goals and conduct regular one-on-one discussions with employees.
  • Ensure development plans are in place for all employees.
  • Address personnel issues promptly and complete performance reviews fairly and on-time.
  • Responsible for departmental training and ensuring training modules are up to date.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and client audits.
  • Lead or participate in site wide or global department initiatives including Quality systems improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety regulations and procedures.
