You'll perform as a Global Supply Chain, Subcontract Administrator You'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposal, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages for review, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts. You'll also Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. You'll participate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. You may sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline
  • Experience with one of the following: procurement/buying, purchase orders, supplier proposals, managing supplier/customer relationships, negotiations, data analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years' in supply chain management and/or procurement or 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Works independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
  • Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions
  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • Familiar with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay.
  • Developing Project/Program Management skills
  • Written and verbal communication and organization skills
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated
  • Learning subcontract management skills/practices
  • Experience with negotiations
  • Ability to make business-based decisions
  • Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or a similar industry
