Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer.
• Experience analyzing production requirements in an SAP procurement system.
• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Department of Defense (DOD) contracts or TINA.

• Experience managing multiple complex subcontracts.
• Working knowledge of international procurement processes.
• Experience with the procurement of complex assemblies within the defense industry.
• Project Leadership experience and willingness to mentor colleagues.
• Interpersonal and presentation experience.
• PO Folder creation and modification experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
• Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals.
• Negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts.
