About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) position responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectations in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Emergent Requirements Team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and have a desire to provide world-class customer support at our Seal Beach, CA location that provides 24/7/365 day a year support. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge in supply chain management
• Basic experience in customer support or customer service role
• High attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results driven
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Proficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Experience applying effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proofreading and editing skills
• Ability to travel 10% as needed

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
• Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)
• Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution
• Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
• Delegate tasks to manage workload
• Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results
• Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans
• Manage multiple concurrent deadlines
• Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity
• Adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment
