About The Position

OKSI is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support daily supply chain operations including purchasing, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role helps ensure materials and components are procured, tracked, and delivered efficiently to support engineering and production activities. The Supply Chain Specialist works closely with vendors, logistics partners, and internal teams to maintain smooth material flow across programs.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or manufacturing operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory tracking
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced operational environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
  • Comfortable working with shipping systems, procurement documentation, and inventory records
  • You must have, or be eligible to obtain, a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance. You will be subject to government security investigations and must be able to access classified information. The inability to obtain a security clearance will result in you being ineligible for the position.
  • The person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or technology organizations
  • Experience using enterprise systems such as Unanet or other ERP platforms
  • Experience coordinating shipments through common carriers and freight services
  • Experience supporting engineering or production teams with material procurement and logistics

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure materials and supplies are delivered on schedule
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Prepare and coordinate outbound shipments to customers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Package and label materials for shipment through common carriers and freight services
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic inventory counts
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of materials and supplies
  • Organize, label, and store materials while maintaining accurate tracking of inventory movement
  • Enter and maintain purchasing, inventory, and shipment records within internal systems such as Unanet or similar ERP tools
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure materials are available to support project and production needs
