Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a transportation, logistics, or customer service role
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Friendly and outgoing
  • Adaptable to daily operational challenges
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills
  • Results-oriented and quality-driven
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Fast-paced transportation/logistics office environment
  • Frequent communication via phone and email
  • Multi-tasking across shipments, systems, and customer requests
  • Extended computer usage required
  • Regular attendance is essential
  • Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Monitoring & Execution – Monitor and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of shipments for managed transportation customers.
  • Carrier Documentation & Invoicing – Ensure timely receipt and processing of carrier documentation and invoices.
  • Customer Support & Communication – Respond promptly to client needs via email and phone, including tracking, tracing, and resolving shipment issues.
  • Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement – Identify carrier performance concerns and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Cross-Functional Support – Participate in cross-training and provide coverage for other Logistics Specialists to ensure seamless customer support.
