About The Position

Entry / Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Planner) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services is looking for either an Entry or Associate Supply Chain Analyst (Level 1 or 2) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. The Supply Chain Analyst role should be able to have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and a desire to provide world-class customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Finance/Economics, Math/Statistics or other related field
  • Experience in data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Ability to establish relationships and maintaining communication with customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Finance/Economics, Math/Statistics or other related field
  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain standard operating processes and procedures
  • 1+ years of experience in forecasting, supply planning, production planning, or similar supply chain role
  • Exposure to data management concepts and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for program supply support activity
  • Provide status reports, briefs, and metrics relating to performance and mission readiness
  • Coordinate to ensure current supply status and contract commitments meet program schedules and plans
  • Resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers
  • Interface with program and customer information management systems
  • Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
  • Demonstrate leadership through coordination of efforts between Supply Chain, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, and Contracts.
  • Analyze post-production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.
  • Analyze supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include capabilities, capacity and perform assessment of change impact to supply support system.
  • Identify Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution.
  • Assist with order closeouts.
  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include supply capabilities, capacity and performance
  • Track the movement of parts through the life cycle
  • Ensure budget / EAC accountability for plan and open orders
