About The Position

The Boeing Order Management and Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Agent (Entry Level, or Associate). This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services BGS Supply Chain. This position will support our Order Management team. The Order Management team creates and develops request for proposals based on a set of requirements, solicits the supply base for compliant proposals, negotiates acquisition costs and ensures on time delivery of aerospace hardware. This team is also responsible for order placement, adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, or Associate Procurement Agents. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX or Seattle WA.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in Data Analysis.
  • Less than 1 year of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience in contracts and proposals.
  • Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.
  • Experience negotiating price and schedule with customers.
  • Experience using SAP software.

Responsibilities

  • Possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders.
  • Assist with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Support the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer's requirements.
