About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (Associate) to join our San Antonio Retrofit Kitting team in San Antonio, TX . The candidate will interface with several functions on a daily basis to manage Supply Chain requirements. Candidate will perform Supply Chain order execution, delivery management, and analyze data.

Requirements

  • A self-starter who demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one's actions.
  • Exhibits a moral, legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility
  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
  • General understanding of maintenance, modifications, retrofit processes and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Communication Skills to be able to coordinate with stakeholders and partners such as Program Management, Warehousing, Delivery Management, Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality, and Contracts
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
  • 2+ years experience working in a cross-functional environment
  • 1+ years experience with Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Experience with Aircraft Modification Programs
  • Experience with the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer system

Responsibilities

  • Assists in analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
  • Manage the flow and execution of Retrofit Kitting orders supporting military contracts
  • Work open requirements to achieve monthly On Time Delivery of kits
  • Coordinate the resolution of order issues pertaining to contract terms, engineering, shipping, PR/PO constraints, supplier issues
  • Report project status and order status to program, lead, and/or leadership
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partners such as Program Management, Warehousing, Delivery Management, Engineering, Supplier Management, Quality, and Contracts
