About The Position
The Supply Chain Solutions Director at Intermountain Health is a pivotal role that leads a team in delivering strategic value to assigned customers. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships (SRM) and coordinating complex decision-making processes to ensure effective service delivery. The director will work closely with internal stakeholders to establish strategic goals aimed at achieving savings and efficiencies for Intermountain Healthcare. Additionally, the role involves managing key stakeholder relationships (CRM) and overseeing critical projects within the supply chain, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives. In this capacity, the director will direct efforts between key stakeholders and various Supply Chain teams, developing a multi-year business plan that aligns with stakeholder goals. This includes collaborating with VPs, AVPs, and Directors to prioritize opportunities and engage the appropriate Supply Chain leaders to deliver the outlined value. The director will also serve as the primary executive point of contact with suppliers, monitoring and managing supplier performance, and ensuring that executive-level relationships are maintained to optimize value. The role requires providing industry insights and category expertise to stakeholders, ensuring that category strategies are consistent with stakeholder objectives. The director will lead the implementation of Supply Chain initiatives, track value, and generate insightful reports for stakeholders. Furthermore, the position involves guiding stakeholders on policies and procedures, managing requests for product standard deviations, and ensuring compliance with contracts and standards. The director will also manage a team of Category Leaders, focusing on talent development and performance management. This includes conducting annual reviews, setting goals, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The role acts as a liaison between various departments and stakeholders, addressing contract issues and enhancing customer service. Overall, the Supply Chain Solutions Director plays a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the effective management of supply chain operations within Intermountain Healthcare.
