Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Solutions Architect II to join our team in Salisbury, NC. This strategic role is pivotal in translating business requirements into effective solution architecture deliverables. The Solutions Architect will work closely with the Architecture Community and Product Owners to ensure that business needs are thoroughly understood and translated into feasible technological solutions. This position involves complex solution design across multiple projects or products, requiring a deep understanding of security, performance, and integration to ensure alignment with architecture guidelines. The Solutions Architect II will be responsible for developing solution architecture designs and ensuring effective communication with the product team. They will lead the analysis and selection of appropriate technologies and services from third-party vendors, presenting solution architecture designs to Enterprise Architects and the architecture forum as necessary. This role also includes providing technical leadership and governance prior to project execution, ensuring that the proposed architecture is implemented as designed. The Solutions Architect will evaluate project outcomes, measuring results against expected benefits outlined in the architecture design, and recommend improvements and backlog priorities. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Solutions Architect will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, product teams, and development teams, influencing decision-making processes for IT solutions and value stream optimization. They will develop and review the solution architecture blueprint for products and value streams, ensuring that designs are future-proof and scalable while considering hardware, infrastructure, and data constraints. The role also involves mentoring other solution architects and product team members, ensuring compliance with architecture standards, and embedding security, privacy, and regulatory needs into solution design and execution.
