About The Position

To assist with various responsibilities of the Supply Chain department; to receive, store, issue, inventory stock levels, transport, and monitor materials, supplies, linen, mail, and equipment; and to perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, speak and write English

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and respond to changes as necessary
• Ability to count items
• Ability to follow directions

Nice To Haves

• High School or equivalent
• Prior customer service and/or experience in supply distribution

Responsibilities

• Distributes supplies, linen, specimens, equipment, mail and other items throughout the hospital campus.
• Fills and issues order requests.
• Transports soiled equipment.
• Maintains accurate records of work requests and other pertinent information.
• Cleans and straightens work area on a daily basis.
• Receives and stocks product.
• Contacts Purchasing to follow up on problems and obtain information.
• Monitors inventory levels and makes recommendations.
• Checks expiration dates and rotates product.
• Performs general clerical duties such as computer entry, scanning, and filing.
• Cleans equipment
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
