SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future with humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one without. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. The Supply Chain Reliability Engineering Quality team is chartered with proactive quality evaluations of the supply base, reducing supply chain risk through assessing and monitoring suppliers and proactively driving needed supplier improvements. As a Supply Chain Reliability Engineer, you would ensure suppliers are assessed to determine if they continue to meet SpaceX technical and production requirements. You would review supplier quality performance, identify risks and opportunities around the manufacturing processes and services through supplier audits and assessments. You would be responsible for identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement, and working with internal and external team members to lead the resulting projects to completion. You would be dealing with suppliers that support all areas of launch (Falcon, Dragon, Starship) at SpaceX. You would build an extensive network within design engineering, build reliability, production, and supply chain management, and a deep understanding of SpaceX systems and processes. This experience would enable you to become a critical voice in the development of group and company strategy.
