Impact Areas In this role, you will: Source and procure raw materials, components, services, and supplies aligned to production schedules. Administer POs from issue through receipt, validating accuracy and timing against requirements. Negotiate pricing, lead times, payments, and contracts while holding to quality and delivery standards. Develop and sustain supplier relationships; identify secondary sources to reduce risk. Coordinate closely with planning, production, engineering, quality, and finance for synchronized execution. Track supplier performance and drive resolution on delivery, quality, or service nonconformances. Analyze inventory levels to maintain availability and minimize excess/obsolescence. Support audits, supplier evaluations, and corrective actions as needed. Resolve invoice variances with finance and keep purchasing documentation complete and current. Monitor market conditions and material price trends to guide sourcing strategies. Own follow-up on work orders, purchase orders, and outside processes; escalate past-due items to the Purchasing Manager and impacted teams. Publish timely status reports that keep stakeholders informed on product requirements. Take on additional related duties as assigned.
