The Supply Chain Project Manager plays a crucial role in the center-led Supply Chain Team, focusing on achieving a competitive advantage through best practices in supply management. This position involves collaboration with various project teams and departments to procure necessary services, materials, and equipment for successful operations and maintenance (O&M) projects in the wind and solar sectors.

  • Issue Request for Proposals (RFPs), perform bid evaluations, and negotiate prices and contracts.
  • Enter Purchase Orders and Change Orders into the ERP accounting systems and issue to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure Subcontractors and vendors are prequalified for business.
  • Maintain relationships with main suppliers and coordinate with the global department regarding supplier situations.
  • Route agreement forms for signature and ensure execution per the RES authority matrix.
  • Assist in creating and issuing low-risk/low-spend contracts, ensuring proper project flow-downs and scope-specific requirements are included.
  • Arrange, track, and expedite the timely delivery of services, materials, and equipment to meet site expectations.
  • Review orders for accuracy and identify discrepancies with previous orders.
  • Learn and drive various software platforms used in Procurement.
  • Attend work regularly and punctually as scheduled or expected.
  • Comply with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Present, support, and lead by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
  • Complete credit applications from project teams and ensure agreed-upon terms are met.
  • File and store all executed agreements in the appropriate database for access by project teams and Procurement.
  • Participate in required training and follow safety management, quality management, and environmental management system procedures.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or relevant fields preferred.
  • 2+ years of general office experience or equivalent combination of field experience and secondary education, including military service preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written documentation.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizing capabilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • High competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude and desire to grow in the role.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for corporate vehicle insurance coverage preferred.
  • Knowledge of contracts and subcontracts for services and rentals.
  • Knowledge of US and international logistics methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and PPEs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation and execution; experience in ISO 45001 desired.
  • Knowledge of the wind and solar industry and associated field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with procurement software platforms such as Mapps, GMAO, Sharepoint, Hive World, ISN.
  • Familiarity with safety management systems and quality management systems.
