Requirements

  • Scope (Change) Management - Quickly adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information. Clearly defines and controls the project scope to prevent scope creep. Manages change requests while ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints. Maintains focus on deliverables and ensures they meet agreed-upon requirements.
  • Technical Project Management Skills (incl. Scheduling) - Masters project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Effectively uses tools and software (e.g., Planisware, Jira, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects. Applies standard and advanced PM techniques like Earned Value Management (EVM), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and Gantt charts.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Project Actions - Lead programs.
  • Mentors Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Product Actions - Accountable for project/program results.
  • Project Artifacts - Accountable for program artifacts (strategy, benefits, scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, project integration, ROI, etc.).
  • Project Governance - Lead project meetings and reviews.
  • Project Management - Accountable for program gates and deliverables.
