As a Supply Chain Project Engineer, you’ll partner closely with Caterpillar suppliers and dealers and play a critical role in supporting machine and component rebuilds—an essential part of keeping the world’s largest mining operations running. Mining machines and major components must be rebuilt to keep them performing at the highest level. Your expertise ensures that when a machine or component goes in for a rebuild, the right supply is available so that the rebuilds are completed on time, every time . In this position, you won’t just be behind the scenes—you’ll see the direct impact of your work on dealer success, customer physical availability, and overall business growth. You’ll gain visibility with leadership, work cross-functionally across the enterprise, and influence strategic decisions that shape the future of Caterpillar’s aftermarket supply chain. You can be creative, shape and improve the technology and processes to drive superior customer experience to internal stakeholders as well as Caterpillar dealers and customers. In this role, you will lead the development of the aftermarket parts supply strategy for the Resource Industries Aftermarket Supply Chain organization. You’ll drive alignment across product, marketing, and global business units, helping set annual targets and contributing to long-term product and business planning. Your work will elevate the supply chain’s performance today—and shape what it looks like heading into 2030 and beyond.
