About The Position

The Supply Chain Project Coordinator completes a variety of projects and performs detailed analysis related to Supply Chain activities. Topics may include leading the development of IT requests and testing new reports and applications; assisting with freight analysis with the goal of reducing cost and improving service; reviewing system data for gaps and inaccuracies; assisting with inventory management; etc. The coordinator works with the warehouse leadership team to develop training material, which may include video recording and editing. Additionally, they assist with the development of measures to improve SQF compliance for warehouse and Supply Chain functions, review customer complaints, check inventory against complaint data, identify process and EHS improvements, and work with the team to refine and implement these improvements. The role also involves developing capital projects for Supply Chain and coordinating efforts regarding supplier social responsibility, supplier approvals, diversity reporting, and more.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or closely related discipline strongly preferred.
  • Three to five years of progressive Supply Chain experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Completes a wide range of projects related to Supply Chain activities, focusing on safety, process improvements, system data accuracy, and freight analysis.
  • Develops and leads safety improvement projects as assigned.
  • Tracks EHS audit findings for warehouse areas and ensures timely completion of follow-up actions.
  • Develops IT system enhancement and report requests and works with IT to troubleshoot and test results.
  • Ensures accuracy of BOL data and reviews inventory master records for completeness.
  • Reviews market trends and prepares quarterly updates on freight analysis.
  • Conducts formal problem-solving exercises for customer complaints and determines root causes.
  • Analyzes complaint data to identify patterns and recommends solutions.
  • Reviews warehouse layout and operations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Promotes a safe work environment and performs weekly audits of warehouse areas.
  • Must be able to work overtime and perform other related duties as required.
