About The Position

The Supply Chain Planning Replenishment Coordinator at Ashley Furniture Industries is responsible for ensuring product availability in the company's Distribution Centers. This role involves creating and amending transfer orders, balancing inventory levels, and communicating with various internal teams to meet customer demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Use the Supply Chain Management System to ensure product availability in Distribution Centers.
• Create new transfer orders and amend existing ones to maintain sufficient inventory levels.
• Balance inventory levels throughout Distribution Centers to ensure complete sets are available for resale.
• Communicate with internal customers such as distribution center management and customer service to fulfill external customer demands.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports to determine items and quantities to be transferred.
• Accurately enter inventory transactions into the computer database.
• Identify severe inventory conditions and communicate them to management with recommendations for solutions.
• Recommend transportation mode changes based on product availability and customer demand.
• Create, update, save, and distribute reports and department KPIs regularly.
• Evaluate the reliability of the supply chain flow to ensure product availability.
• Contribute to planning long- and short-term business objectives and recommend process improvements.
