Provide analysis on vendor spend and provide summaries.

Requirements

  • Computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Power BI)
  • Analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time appropriately
  • Detail oriented
  • A team player and collaborative worker with a positive attitude
  • Currently enrolled in university or college and pursuing a degree or designation in Supply Chain or a similar field, like Engineering or Business

  • Applicants must have housing accommodations or transportation in the Houston area, as Precision does not provide internship housing.
  • By May 4, 2026, applicants must have completed at least their first year of study in a post-secondary program/Technical Institute (see job posting).

Responsibilities

  • Create spend analysis reports for key vendors of Precision Drilling
  • Create info records for various materials from multiple vendors in S/4HANA and the Ariba Sourcing & Contracts module
  • Develop BI report on spend analysis for key vendors
  • Assist the supply chain team with Ad Hoc reports
  • Demand planning for rig equipment or consumables
