About The Position

As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing facility performance to meet corporate targets, thereby improving order-to-delivery results. This position involves spending a significant portion of time on the weld line, with 50-75% of your time dedicated to floor activities. You will lead initiatives to develop and implement the Plan for Every Part, aiming to optimize throughput efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree with interest in supply chain or associates degree with 2+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to lift 35+ pounds and work on the floor.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Technical degree in industrial technology or engineering.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPS, RIW, and Value Stream Transformation processes.
  • Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management, and/or Logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain processes for manufacturing areas, including standard work, material handling equipment, and floor layouts.
  • Maintain the Plan for Every Part for 2,000 to 5,000 part numbers across manufacturing value streams.
  • Document processes and integrate them into various planning tools.
  • Support the design and implementation of material packaging and containerization solutions for the facility.
  • Enhance manufacturing areas' performance through continuous improvement processes, incident investigation, and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Resolve systemic supply chain-related problems.
