About The Position

As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing facility performance to meet corporate targets, thereby improving order-to-delivery results. This position involves spending a significant portion of time on the weld line, with 50-75% of your time dedicated to floor activities. You will lead initiatives to develop and implement the Plan for Every Part, aiming to optimize throughput efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree with interest in supply chain or associates degree with 2+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to lift 35+ pounds and work on the floor.
Strong math skills.
Blueprint reading.
Technical degree in industrial technology or engineering.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CPS, RIW, and Value Stream Transformation processes.
Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes.
Experience with Microsoft Access.
Background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management, and/or Logistics.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain processes for manufacturing areas, including standard work, material handling equipment, and floor layouts.
Maintain the Plan for Every Part for 2,000 to 5,000 part numbers across manufacturing value streams.
Document processes and integrate them into various planning tools.
Support the design and implementation of material packaging and containerization solutions for the facility.
Enhance manufacturing areas' performance through continuous improvement processes, incident investigation, and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA).
Resolve systemic supply chain-related problems.
