We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner (Operations Planner) for our Campus in Tempe, AZ. This role is within the Operations Scheduling group and will interact with many different functional areas including, Master Production Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Master Data, & External Customers. This position will work onsite at our plant in Tempe, AZ. In this exciting role, you will support business execution of ongoing and new programs and initiatives that include production scheduling and material scheduling in support of internal customers. Activities will focus on maintaining master production schedules, adherence to financial targets, new product launches, and supply health. You will monitor key performance indicators and coordinate with cross-functional work teams to meet business objectives. Key stakeholders will include Operations, Sourcing, and Operations Scheduling team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain OR a Master’s degree and 0 years’ experience

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • MS/MBA preferred.
  • Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent statistical and mathematics skills.
  • APICs CPIM/CSCP.
  • Software skills including MS Office (Access & Excel focus).
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Factoryworks, Blue Yonder.
  • Ability to present information and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience implementing/utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques a plus.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution planning, logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning for the IC Test value stream, aligning capacity, material availability, and production schedules to meet customer demand and service level targets.
  • Develop and execute shift-level production plans, prioritizing work orders and monitoring KPIs to ensure attainment of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Manage material consumption and inventory performance, optimizing inventory levels, minimizing excess and obsolescence, and ensuring accurate system transactions.
  • Drive clear and proactive communication of supply health, escalating risks, mitigation plans, and operational impacts to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary planning liaison for the value stream, partnering with operations, quality, procurement, and engineering to align on priorities and resolve constraints.
  • Maintain and optimize SAP master data to support Blue Yonder MRP accuracy, ensuring planning parameters, lead times, and BOM data drive effective material planning outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve material scheduling and supply constraints, implementing corrective actions to prevent line disruptions and backorders.
  • Actively contribute in tiered daily management meetings, providing data-driven updates on material availability, production priorities, and recovery plans.
