About The Position

Corteva Agriscience™ has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Johnston. In this role, you will support an assigned Commercial Area(s) for the US Pioneer business. This role focuses as the liaison between Supply Chain and the Commercial business for demand, allocations, shipping, and demand shaping. In addition, this role will lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness. This role will also gain an understanding of other processes within Supply Chain such as quality, distribution, scheduling, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics, agriculture, or similar field of study
  • 4-6 years of production or supply chain experience
  • Working knowledge or ability to learn Excel, Managed Supply, and SAP systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work closely with peers in a team environment
  • Ability to manage through change and organizational challenges and ensure commercial teams are aligned on goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting supply chain/logistics needs in the agriculture industry, is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness
  • Monitor KPI’s to measure performance toward objectives
  • Key communication liaison between Commercial Teams and Seed Production and Supply Chain
  • Ensure demand is fulfilled based on priorities to meet current segment targets or quarterly objectives.
  • Consider options and make decisions regarding what supply to utilize to fulfill demand.
  • Monitor KPI’s to measure performance toward objectives.
  • Support and facilitate checkbook deadlines, NATS deadlines, plant tab signals, and order volumes.
  • Works with Commercial Team and Product Life Cycle Managers on business plans, product level estimates, treatment and package signal collection, and shipping.
  • Provide support, direction, and works closely with Sales Support teams.
  • Support Q4 initiatives to execute Customer Direct Deliveries.
  • Participate on cross functional teams.
