About The Position

As a Supply Chain Planner, your mission is to achieve excellence in the Material Procurement process, ensuring a Just-In-Time (JIT) flow. You will contribute to the SCM leadership project 'Lead 2 Lean' by delivering 100% JIT for call-off suppliers and 95% for stock parts suppliers, while also implementing critical supplier escalation to reduce stock to 20% of COGS. Your role will involve driving stock management through Inventory Lifecycle Management (ILM) and optimizing purchase order management. Additionally, you will contribute to the SCM competence project 'World Class' by reducing throughput time and customer lead-time, and minimizing the CIF rate on transport efficiency actions. You will initiate cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory to minimize obsolescence for phase-in and phase-out projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics.
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience with a proven track record.
  • Exposure to international business environments and large companies.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in IT tools: ERP (BPCS), MES, MS Excel, MS Project, SharePoint, Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Procure Material in a Just-in-Time flow to prevent production loss due to material shortages.
  • Interact with suppliers for purchase order transactions and monitor supplier workload.
  • Release daily purchase orders in a timely manner and monitor them through daily routines.
  • Ensure accuracy in IT transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Resolve document discrepancies with suppliers at the warehouse.
  • Chase vendors for material shortages and visit them as necessary.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of parts for New Product Launches.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage escalation processes.
  • Maintain a list of critical suppliers requiring sourcing support.
  • Manage inventory to maintain optimum levels without stockouts.
  • Control non-moving and obsolete items in inventory.
  • Conduct daily stock counts and variance analysis.
  • Analyze historical usage and inventory data to forecast future demand.
  • Manage transport logistics to ensure materials are delivered on time and at the lowest cost.
  • Coordinate with transporters for local parts supplies and manage sea/air/road transport logistics.
  • Optimize transport routings for efficient resource utilization.
  • Adhere to IMS principles and fulfill mandatory legal and internal requirements.
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for assembly lines and supply chain operations.
  • Follow SHE procedures and interact transparently with colleagues and managers.
