About The Position

Coach Glass is looking for a Supply Chain Planner who can work with our inventory team, while leveraging knowledge of the market to drive supplier performance. The right candidate will have some financial skill allowing them to cost model and perform make vs. buy analysis. As the Supply Chain Planner, you will employ your knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, shipping costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods. What you’ll do: The Supply Chain Planner ensures all materials are planned to meet the needs of our customers in our four distribution centers according to stocking levels for OE and Aftermarket business. Duties include but are not limited to: involvement in all aspects of materials flow, material planning, procurement, forecasting, and reporting for production, logistics and delivery to customers. This position requires collaboration between Purchasing, Sales, Logistics and Warehousing teams to meet our planning needs. Who we are: Coach Glass is the leading original equipment and after-market specialty vehicle glass provider in the United States. We are a national company with four U.S. distribution centers. Our products include windshields for recreational vehicles, motor coach, fire apparatus, transit, and heavy equipment.

Requirements

  • 3 -5 years progressive experience in management of materials, sourcing and import/export rules and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Require pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Must be able to occasionally work long hours during weekdays and weekends.
  • Ability to travel, when needed, both domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lean or six sigma preferred
  • APICS certification preferred
