JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Supply Chain Optimization will own management of initiatives that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and improve service across our supply chain and logistics network. This role combines advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement to optimize transportation, distribution, and end-to-end supply chain strategies. The Manager will use data to deliver actionable insights, support decision-making, and implement improvements that drive long-term value. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Data Strategy & Insights: Own the development of analytics solutions and performance dashboards that provide visibility into logistics KPIs, including delivery reliability, transportation costs, and distribution efficiency. Transform data into strategic insights to guide business decisions. Logistics Optimization: Analyze domestic and global logistics operations to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and service improvement across transportation and distribution. Forecasting & Planning: Apply predictive analytics and historical data to improve carrier capacity planning, resource allocation, and on-time delivery performance. Network Design & Performance: Evaluate and optimize logistics networks—including transportation routes and distribution center footprints—to improve cost efficiency and service levels. Supply Chain Modeling: Develop and maintain advanced supply chain models for scenario planning, transportation capacity, and network scalability. Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks (e.g., carrier disruptions, delays) and create proactive mitigation plans to ensure operational continuity and resilience. Cross-Functional Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams across sourcing, merchandising, transportation, and distribution to streamline logistics workflows and drive operational alignment. Cost Management: Analyze logistics-related expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting broader budgeting and financial planning efforts. Vendor & 3PL Performance: Monitor and assess third-party logistics and supplier performance against SLAs. Recommend improvements to enhance service quality, compliance, and efficiency. Technology Implementation: Partner with IT to integrate and optimize logistics technologies (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP), enabling better visibility and data-driven decision-making. Project Management: Oversee data and analytics projects from scope to execution. Ensure alignment with supply chain goals, quality standards, and timeline expectations.
