The Supply Chain Operator position in Plainfield is a full-time role with hours from 5 AM to 1:30 PM. The operator will facilitate inbound delivery inspections, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities include loading and unloading semi-trailer and box truck deliveries, refusing any damaged or unidentifiable shipments, and reporting suspicious packages to Inventory Control. The operator will ensure that inbound deliveries match company purchase orders and verify product origination locations to meet accreditation requirements. The role requires effective utilization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receiving, putaway, and picking products while validating item, location, and quantity. Troubleshooting discrepancies and reporting unresolved issues to leadership is also part of the job. The operator will operate robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor automation safely and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Additional tasks include inspecting products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging, performing cycle counts and physical inventories, reporting maintenance concerns, and maintaining cleanliness. The operator will facilitate stocking replenishment activities and operate material handling equipment, including motorized reach trucks, order pickers, and walkie riders. Some assignments may require light mechanical troubleshooting or preventive maintenance on conveyor and robotics systems, and certification on multiple pieces of equipment is necessary.

  • Must be proficient in National Association of Boards of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
  • Requires mandatory overtime on heavy days and may require on-call rotation, weekend coverage, and operating a company vehicle.
  • Requires long periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
  • Requires the continuous ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist; lift up to 20 pounds from waist to head; carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to push or pull pallets utilizing manual pallet jacks weighing in excess of 800 pounds.
